As a public healthcare sector employee, the decision by MOHH means that your indemnity provision will be transferred to the new scheme when the new arrangements come into force, and your professional indemnity will be arranged separately by MOHH.
Should you wish to retain your individual membership with us when you transition to the new MOHH scheme, you would be welcome to do so, however this would be in addition to the new MOHH arrangement.
If you currently have occurrence-based protection with us, and receive a complaint or claim arising from an adverse clinical incident that occurred while you were still in membership with MPS but is only reported after the transfer to the new arrangement, then you will still have the right to request the same quality of advice, protection and support that you have always received from us.
