Dr Lucy Gibberd is a Medical Adviser for Medical Protection in New Zealand. Dr Gibberd moved to New Zealand in 1991 following her graduation from medical school in the UK and has worked in general practice in Taranaki since 1995. She was awarded a fellowship at the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and holds a Masters in Healthcare Law and Ethics. Dr Gibberd currently splits her working week between MPS and working as a GP partner in New Plymouth.
Jenny Gibson practises as a barrister in Wellington and has a special interest in privacy law. She has accepted instructions from MPS for many years and is experienced in medico-legal issues.
