Format of the day
This full day seminar will cover two main topics:
1. How to develop a positive patient safety culture in your practice
This workshop will be facilitated by a Clinical Risk Manager from MPS Educational Services and will cover:
- Understanding the importance of building a good team
- The importance of a positive safety culture for primary care
- Leadership and teamwork
- Reporting and learning from events
- Resources and training.
2. Complaints at the Sharp End
This engaging and interactive session will be facilitated by a General Practice Complaints Adviser from MPS Medical Services and will enable delegates, through MPS enacted scenarios, to explore:
- What triggers a complaint and how to prevent them
- How to effectively manage and respond to a complaint.
